About Us

Here at Adept-Med we are proud of the products we manufacture and the business that we have built in the Sierra foothills. Adept-Med was founded over 40 years ago by US veterans. They were simply trying to support surgeons needs with medical devices that would assist them during surgery. We have maintained the same sense of pride in our products as the founders and we believe that honoring our veterans is a wonderful way to share this sense of respect. We are extremely proud to say that all Adept-Med products are exclusively manufactured in the United States, using only American-made components.

Below is a list of charities that we would be honored if you would donate. These specific charities hold a special place in our hearts. We proudly Support Our Troops!

Operation Homefront:

“Operation Homefront is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive — not simply struggle to get by — in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. For over fifteen years, we have provided programs that offer: RELIEF (through Critical Financial Assistance and transitional housing programs), RESILIENCY (through permanent housing and caregiver support services) and RECURRING FAMILY SUPPORT programs and services throughout the year that help military families overcome the short-term bumps in the road so they don’t become long-term chronic problems. Operation Homefront has consistently earned high ratings from leading charity rating services, including Charity Navigator, which gave OH 4 Stars for 11 consecutive years for superior service and accountability. At Operation Homefront, 92 percent of expenditures goes directly toward delivering programs and services to the military families who need it most.”

These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.

Fisher Houses have up to 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room and an inviting living room.

Since inception, the program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $407 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.

Fisher House Foundation also operates the Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members as well as the Hotels for Heroes program using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge. The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses and children of fallen and disabled veterans.”
